Chris McGinn joined Indiblu Design Group in 2005 following the birth of her first child. Seeking the flexibility to be a mother but still desiring to use her creative talents, she teamed up with Kimber as associate designer and writer.

Chris graduated magna cum laude from Furman University in 1998 with a BA in English. She has worked as a high school English and creative writing teacher and in development for a small private school. In addition, she has worked in public relations for a large national nonprofit in which she showcased her design talents. As a freelance writer and designer for several newspapers and magazines, Chris brings experience from the journalistic world. She is also the recipient of a Scholastic Magazine Silver Award for Non-Fiction Writing and advertising design awards from the South Carolina Press Association.
