BELMONT ABBEY COLLEGE PICKS INDIBLU DESIGN
Firm selected to design alumni magazine for fifth straight issue
Charlotte, NC --For the fifth edition in a row, Indiblu Design has been hired by Belmont Abbey College to design its alumni magazine
Crossroads. This issue focuses on community service as well as an up-close look at a student’s journey to Africa to encounter AIDS relief efforts.
Belmont Abbey graduate Matt Ottaviani ’04 traveled to Uganda with 25 of his classmates as part of his studies with Boston College’s Graduate School of Social Work. During the trip, Matt kept a journal of his thoughts and experiences as he discovered what it is like for a nation to battle poverty, HIV/AIDS, and death.
"Indiblu Design is proud of this ongoing partnership," said Kimber Flynn, principal and designer. "Belmont Abbey students and alumni offer a lot to the local community and the world, and it is fulfilling to showcase their stories for everyone."
Last year Indiblu Design received two Awards of Distinction in The Communicator Awards 2005 Print Media competition for its design of
Crossroads. The Charlotte-based firm was honored in the categories of Best Educational Institution Magazine and Best nonprofit Magazine.
