YMCA GREENSBORO ENGAGES CHARLOTTE CREATIVE FIRM TO RECREATE SUCCESS ON PAST PROJECT

Charlotte, NC – Indiblu Design Group has been called upon to create YMCA Greensboro’s spring and summer sports literature. The organization runs dozens of athletic programs for adults and youth in the greater Greensboro area.

“We created their spring piece last year with the intent of creating a second piece for the summer programs,” shares Kimber Flynn Evans principal and design director at Indiblu Design Group. “The spring piece generated so much interest they had waiting lists and requests for placement in the summer program as a result. We never had the chance to do anything for the summer because the spring piece was so successful. That’s what strive for . . . exceeding expectations.”

Michael Digh, director of marketing at YMCA Greensboro said, “Last year’s piece was the perfect match for the Y.  It launched a new look for us, a new style of flyer, and definitely had an impact on our sport sign-ups.  This year, we were excited about combining our spring and summer sports together in one piece. That way, parents can truly get a feel for what we can provide to their children over two seasons.”

Kimber Flynn Evans started Indiblu Design Group with these kinds of relationships in mind. “It is so much easier to build and strengthen existing business than to go out and look for new clients. We are completely committed to our clients and find that they are just as committed to us. It is very rewarding.”
