INDIBLU DESIGN GROUP HELPS YMCA OF GREENSBORO PROMOTE "BRING A BLANKET" CAMPAIGN

Charlotte, NC -- For eight years, the YMCA of Greensboro has been collecting new and gently used blankets for local organizations such as the Servant Center, the Triad Health Project, Urban Ministries, and local churches.  Last year, the program brought in more than 1,000 blankets; this season, the Y feels they can collect more.

This year, they have teamed with Indiblu Design Group to provide a logo for the campaign, as well as design targeted direct mailers and full color advertisements to boost exposure in the Greensboro area of this worthy project.

“The ‘Bring a Blanket’ program is a perfect example of our mission in action for Greensboro,” said YMCA president and CEO Greg Jones. “Not only do we want to have the best fitness programs and facilities available, but more importantly we believe in serving our community.”

Indiblu Design Group suggested the addition of a logo to promote the project after finding low community awareness for the long-running blanket collection program. In addition, they have designed a mailing campaign that will focus resources on various target audiences. Three full-color ads will run weekly in the Greensboro News and Record to highlight the activity over a 10-week period.  Additional components include radio and Internet advertising.
